Indian miniatures and artworks have enchanted historians and art lovers for centuries. They have become a source of inspiration to many renowned designers, artists and curators. These beautiful collection of small-scale, highly detailed paintings uses a unique painting technique which requires an amazing combination of aesthetic, skill, tradition and sheer dedication. Today the art of miniature painting is still alive with a combination of cultural articulation and a wealth of self-expression.

This beautiful piece has been created using only natural pigments made of minerals, ochres and vegetable dyes obtained from spices such as turmeric, barks and dried flower petals. The paint brushes used come in a variety of thicknesses, made from the soft ear hairs of bullocks, the fine neck hair of cashmere goats and from the exquisite hair of squirrels’ tails. 

Each painting is painstakingly created using a magnifying glass. This is crucial to attain the required level of exquisite detail. Each painting is encased in traditional Italian craftmanship frames and French gold-leaf paper in the passe-partout have been well-crafted in with the utmost art museum quality.

DANISH FUEL

Founded in Denmark, 2010 by designer René Sundahl; Danish Fuel's DNA is to remain as close to the original design of the salvaged Military Jerry Cans.

These one of a kind pieces are collected from Military surplus warehouses which are then carefully restored and upcycled using the highest machinery technology. The upcycling process takes place in Denmark under high environmental standards according to EU ISO regulations. 

Tiger and Arcadia are glad to join forces with designer René Sundahl to fight for a greener global environment and to give these World History icon a new life. We offer 2 years of warranty on all designs. More than 60 combinations which can be customised, within 3 different ranges (bar, bathroom and First Aid) of putting your own unique Danish Fuel Jerry Can together.

All products are made in Denmark.

TRIBAL MASKS

Ocumichu masks - MEXICO  

These one of a kind mask follows the ancestral mask making technique found during ancient Mexico. They were used as trophy to reward the obstacle race champion. Each mask is a unique symbol of bravery, creativity, tradition and perseverance. 

Unfortunately today, many of the artisans behind these amazing art pieces are slowly disappearing. The tragic incident of drug trafficking have destroyed and disrupted the livelihood and trading opportunities of these artisans who usually resides deep in the utmost part of Mexico. They will have to brave and risked their daily life travelling onto the dangerous roads which are hugely controlled by the narco-traffickers.
